Pathways to Write – A Mastery Approach to English
At our school, we follow a Mastery approach to English through the Pathways to Write programme. This carefully structured approach is built around high-quality texts, providing children with engaging and varied writing opportunities across all year groups.
Skills are developed through repetition and progression within each unit, allowing pupils to practise and apply their learning in meaningful writing activities. A strong focus on vocabulary development ensures that children are continually expanding their language skills, complementing our wider school commitment to fostering a rich and diverse vocabulary.
